HELP! My Succulents is dying....
For your information, dying leaves don’t always mean your succulent is dying. In fact, as with all plants, succulent leaves don’t live forever. As the plant grows it creates new leaves and the older ones die. So, if your succulent has dry, crispy leaves at the bottom of the plant and only at the bottom, you don’t need to worry. This is normal.... :)
If the leaves start to get unsightly or bother you, gently pull them away from the base of the plant and throw them away. Only pull off the leaves that come off easily or are totally dead. Now, if the upper leaves (the new growth) on your succulent aren’t looking so great, you’ll want to take notice and determine what might be causing the change. If the leaves are starting to look yellow and transparent, and feel soggy or mushy to the touch, it’s likely you’ve over watered.

How To Water Succulents Outdoor
Again, the amount of water for your succulents outdoors will also depend on your location and the humidity where you live. The hotter it is the more you’ll need to water and the more humid it is, the less you’ll need to water. I generally water my plants every 2-3 days during the heat of the summer. However, during winter i will water them a lot lesser. When it does start cooling off I cut back to watering once a week and sometimes every other week.
How To Water Succulents Indoors
Water - It's such a basic need. Yet too much (or too little) water is the number one way to kill your succulents. If you are struggling with how often and how much to water your succulents, this information or guide is for you! :)
I water my indoor plants every 3-4 days in a pot that has a drainage hole. There isn't a lot of humidity inside my house so I find my plants dry out pretty quickly. However, your location plays a big role in how much you have to water. In a more humid location, you shall water your succulents a lot lesser. Since the succulents have access to water in the air, the humidity prevents them from losing water as quickly, so keep that in mind.
You have to experiment and see what works for you. When dealing with full sized plants it’s good to err on the side of underwatering since too much water tends to kill succulents more quickly than too little. :)

Good Soil For Succulents
Having well draining soil is crucial for succulents and that is why most of my succulent gardening is done in containers, whether indoors or outdoors.
For your information, succulent roots do not get water from direct contact. Rather, they absorb the water molecules in the air. This is why having a succulent sitting in sopping wet soil is so problematic and makes the plant rot.
Make sure your pot has a drainage hole otherwise there isn’t any point in having well draining soil as the water will just sit in the bottom of the pot.
Succulents in popcorn container
Don't throw your popcorn container away.....it can be a good and decorative planter for your succulents. To ensure my succulents have good drainage, I've made 2 holes at the bottom or else make sure to fill up the first layer with small pebbles / stones to allow good drainage before adding soil to it. :)
